Daily Harvest Copycat Mint and cacao smoothie

I tried Daily Harvest for about six months. There were a few smoothies that were genuinely great and a lot of others that were just kinda blah. The ingredients were really fresh and healthy, so I rationalized that the cost was worth it (around $7 per smoothie). I re-created a few of their best ones and I think they are even better that the original. Try it out and let me know.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Blend an entire bag of spinach with 4-5 tablespoons full of Cacao Nibs. These are sometimes hard to find. Your local Natural foods store should have them, or you can buy the on Amazon. I bought this pack and it lasted me a full year. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81P81FFxC4L._SX679_.jpg

  2. Poor mixture into ice cube trays and top each section with 1/2 teaspoonful of mint extract.

  3. Freeze overnight. The next day but cubes into a Ziplock bag to use easily.

  4. When you are ready to make your smoothie, simply blend 2 or 3 cubes with almond milk, a handful of ice and a banana.

  5. Enjoy! I drink this most mornings instead of breakfast and it keeps me full until lunch. It tastes like Mint chocolate ice cream and is so good.
